Kimberly A. ‘Kim’ LaMarche

She was born on July 29, 1964 in Cheboygan, Mich., daughter of Donald and Patricia (Ward) Dundas. Kim was raised in Sault Ste Marie and graduated from Sault Ste Marie High School in 1982. She furthered her education at Lake Superior State University and earned her bachelor degree in 1986.

On October 28, 1989, Kim married Daniel LaMarche in Escanaba. They were blessed with a son, Sean.

She was a certified public accountant for Anderson Tackman and Company and then Gladstone Area Schools until her health forced her to retire.

Kim enjoyed camping, reading, knitting, motorcycle rides, and traveling with friends. She was a member of the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants (AICPA). Kim was a person everyone loved and enjoyed being around. She enjoyed her time working with the Cub Scouts and Boy Scouts. Kim was a great mom and loved being with family and friends. She loved traveling to foreign countries with Sean and our close friends. Kim was a true fighter and inspiration for all that knew her. If we could all be like her, this world would be a better place.

She is survived by her husband, Daniel LaMarche of Escanaba; and her son, Sean LaMarche of Gwinn.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her brothers, Don Jr. and Cory Dundas; and sister, Kris Dundas.

Visitation will take place on Friday, December 20th from 3:30 to 5 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home, 302 S. 13th St., Escanaba. A funeral service will follow at 5 p.m. with Deacon Terry Saunders officiating.
