Tina Marie Trottier

HARDWOOD — Tina Marie Trottier, beloved daughter, wife, mother, grandmother, and friend to so many, passed away in her home on Monday, September 30, 2024, surrounded by her family.

She had eight biological children, but she was Mama Tina to so many more whom she considered hers. She was born in Escanaba, on April 29, 1962, to Bryant G. Gagnon and Janet E. Gagnon (Ammel) of Perronville. After high school, Tina married Dale Tebear of Bark River. They had four children together, She later married her loving husband, Timothy J. Trottier (Magoo) of Gladstone, on July 6, 1991. She attended Bay College and Michigan Tech. She was a bartender for many years at Cheers, The Met, and Dan’s Bar, and as a receptionist at the Salvation Army in Escanaba. In more recent years, Tina and Tim moved to Hardwood, Michigan, to be near her parents’ home, and she worked at Da’ Hardwood Store in Foster City.

She is survived by her parents, Bryant J. Gagnon and Janet E. Gagnon (Ammel); husband, Timothy J. Trottier; children, Jenna Dennings (Tom), Damon Tebear, Nisha Tebear-Coolman (Jeremy), Helene Tebear, Isaac Trottier, Christina Trottier, Hannah Butkovich(Jodi), Gabriel Trottier (Joey/Nicole); Adam Christianson, Whitney Putnam, Jeremy Beauvais, and many more bonus children; her grandchildren, Kelton, Zoe, Tansy, Rainah, and Asher Beauvais, Linkoln Chenier, Echo Tebear, Morgan Starke, Dylan Sarasin, Mia Cato, Bethany Peacock, Makenzy Listle, Kaia Collins, Alexander Tebear, Logan (Rachael Bergstrom), Isabelle, and Haiden Coolman, Liam Hayes, Chayse Butkovich, Xendaya Willette, Cammora Butkovich, Freyja Trottier, Kieyaunna Frye, Raelynn Teeple, and Rodney Frye III, Mateo Putnam, and Evalynn Hartman.

She was preceded in death by her brother, Keith Gagnon; her first husband, Dale Tebear; and her grandson, Ethan Tebear, and two of her special bonus children, Brandon “Rossy” Ross and Chad “Chadwick” Chenier.

Services will take place on Sunday, October 6 at Skradski’s Funeral Home in Escanaba. The family will receive visitors from 2-4 p.m. with a memorial service to follow at 4 p.m.
