GLADSTONE — Thomas A. Mackie, 86, of Gladstone, passed away Tuesday evening, September 24, 2024 at his home.

Thomas was born March 11, 1938, the son of William and Doris (Artley) Mackie. He attended Gladstone High School.  He then entered the United States Air Force, later in years he graduated Bay De Noc College.

Thomas was united in marriage to Ruth Ann Smith on May 24, 1958. They had three daughters, Julie, Lynn and Kathy.

Tom enjoyed fishing, bowling, golf and genealogy.

Thomas is survived by his daughters, Julie Delaney (Jack Thomson), Kathy (Dion) Pike; son-in-law, Dana Lordson; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

In addition to his parents, Thomas is preceded in death by his wife, Ruth (Ann); daughter, Lynn Lordson; and several brothers and sisters.

Family will be having a military graveside service at Fernwood Cemetery on October 11, 2024 at 1 p.m.
