Lowell D. Seeley

GLADSTONE — Lowell D. Seeley, 79, passed away peacefully on Monday, September 30, 2024 at Bellin Hospital in Green Bay, with his family by his side.
Lowell was born on February 19, 1945 in Escanaba, the son of Clifford and Myrtle Seeley. He grew up in Gladstone on Clifford’s tree farm. He enjoyed the outdoors, camping, and fishing. He was a ham radio operator for 50 years as well as being a member of the Steam and Gas club. He also traveled around the world twice aboard the naval aircraft carrier “The Roosevelt” as a CBS and boiler man. He had worked for 40 years; 23 years at the state hospital in Newberry, 4.5 years at the school for the deaf in Flint, and 10 years at Michigan Tech University in Houghton as a boiler engineer.
Lowell is survived by his loving wife, Peggy (Johnson) Seeley; sons, Kenneth Seeley, Michael Seeley, and Donald Seeley; daughter, Sue Ellen Black; brother, Donald Seeley, and eight grandchildren.
Family will receive friends on Saturday, October 12 from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone.
