Dianne M. Oja

GLADSTONE — Dianne M. Oja, 84 of Gladstone, Mich. passed away on Sunday, September 29, 2024, in Green Bay.

She was born March 3, 1940, to the late William and Delia Oja. Dianne worked in many law offices, sold real estate and loved her position at the Island Casino, where she worked with the general manager for almost 20 years.

In her younger years she enjoyed golfing, skiing and creating sandblasted signs and art. She enjoyed traveling with family and with her job at the casino.

Survivors include her daughter, Jana (Dan) Lavelle; grandsons, Joshua and Gabriel (Lauryn) Lavelle; great-granddaughter, Lily; nephews, Michael (Barb) Kelly and Scott (Jessica) Kelly and their children.

Dianne was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Ron Strait; and her sister and brother-in-law, Lucinda and Mike Kelly.

Graveside service will be held on Saturday, October 26, 2024, at 1 p.m. ET at Fernwood Cemetery, Gladstone, Mich. Memorial contributions may be directed to Delta County Animal Shelter or St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital.
