Richard Joseph Smaron
PERRONVILLE — Richard Joseph Smaron, 71, of Perronville, passed away on July 17, 2024 at Lutheran General Hospital from his fight of lung cancer. Richard was born June 28, 1953, the son of the late Stanley (Tito) Smaron and Stella (Bloniarz) and brother of the late Diane Smaron, husband of Carol and Bonus dad to Sandra (Vince) Potempa, Tina (Billy) Krajeioski and of the late Tammy (John) Cecchini. Pa Rick to 10 grandchildren.
Rick was born and raised in Chicago and spent his summers on the Bloniarz family farm. He fulfilled his dream of retiring in Perronville 10 years ago. Rick enjoyed hunting and never missed a day of opening season deer hunting with his cousin Dean and many dear friends.
Services are September 7 at St Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic Church in Bark River. Gathering at 10:30, Mass at 11 EST
