John E. Hupy Jr.
MARINETTE, Wis. — John E. Hupy Jr., 66, of Marinette, passed away Monday, September 16, 2024 at home. He was born November 3, 1958 to John and Mary (Franks) Hupy in Escanaba. He graduated from Escanaba High School and attended NWTC in Marinette. On July 5, 1996 John married Faith Brendemihl in Marinette. He had worked at Emerson Electric and currently as a semi driver for Schnieder Trucking. John loved spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. He was an avid outdoorsman, enjoying hunting, fishing and target shooting.
John is survived by his wife, Faith; parents, John and Mary Hupy; five daughters, Laura, Jill, Amy, Carrie (Brian), and Jackie (Jason) and granddaughter Justice Behling who John and Faith raised; a brother, Daniel (Carol); two sisters, Laura (Dan) and Pam (Jim); many grandchildren and one great-grandchild arriving in March. He was preceded in death by a granddaughter Baylee Poquette.
Visitation will be held at Thielen Funeral Home, Marinette, Wis. on Friday Sept 20 from 1 to 3 p.m. CST. Prayer services will be held at 3 p.m. CST.
