Frank George Yagodzinski
WILSON — Frank George Yagodzinski, 95, of Wilson, passed away on Monday, September 23, 2024 at Bishop Noa Home with his family by his side. He was born March 23, 1929 in Chicago, Ill., son of the late Charles and Katherine (Zemba) Yagodzinski. On January 7, 1950, Frank married Olga Myrvall in Stephenson, Mich. She preceded him in death in 2016.
Frank was raised in Wilson and graduated from Harris Township School. He was an over the road truck driver for many years, until becoming a real estate agent until retirement.
He had a passion for travel, taking many once in a lifetime trips with his wife, friends, and children. He enjoyed spending time with his family, camping, going to auctions, tinkering with his tractors, and attending polka fests.
He is survived by a son, Allen (Karen) Yagodzinski of Wilson; daughter, Linda (Dennis) LaMarch of Escanaba; son-in-law, Al Grabowski of Escanaba; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Becky) Yagodzinski of Escanaba, Phil (Sara) LaMarch of Escanaba, Melissa (Adam) Mercier of Powers, Shonda (Jeffrey) Bryer of Stonington, and Miranda Yagodzinski of Wilson; nine great-grandchildren, Philip, Payten, Bryson, Brody, Zowie, Reanna, Rielle, Barrett, and Alma; three great-great-grandchildren, Viviana, Graysen, Wrenley; and several nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents and wife, Olga, he was preceded in death by his daughter, Donna Grabowski; brother, Charles Yagodzinski; and sister, Dorothy (James) Marcouiller.
Visitation will be held on Monday, September 30 from 10:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. at Salem Lutheran Church, 4304 D Road, Bark River. The funeral service will follow at 12 p.m. with Pastor Steve Hartten officiating and a meal will be provided in the church hall at the conclusion of the service.
Entombment will take place in Gardens of Rest Cemetery.
