Eric J. Sattem

He was born on December 22, 1949 in Escanaba, son of Eldred and Edna (Sundstrom) Sattem. Eric graduated from Escanaba High School class of 1968.

Eric had a special love for his dogs, Nick, CO, and Dog. He loved hunting, fishing, gardening, and playing cards, especially Flat Rock Rummy. In his younger years, he was the pitcher for his softball team and enjoyed playing dart ball.

Eric is survived by his siblings, Matthew (Lynn) Sattem, Jean (John) Ferrari, and Steve Sattem; nieces and nephews, Mike (Rachel) Sattem, Ben Sattem, Marissa (Mark) Ackerman, Angela (Joshua) Ernstes, and Lori (Kevin) Kirby; and great nieces and nephews, Sofia and Andrew Ackerman, Jacob Ernstes, Elise Kirby, and Mila Sattem.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother, Mark Sattem; brother-in-law, Jim Cavender; and nephew, Matt Sattem, Jr.
