Sharon J. Ambeau

She was born on June 5, 1945 in Gladstone, Mich., daughter of Warner and Delores (Couillard) Palmquist. Sharon was raised in Gladstone and graduated in 1965 from Gladstone School.

On October 10, 1970, Sharon married Allen Joel Ambeau in Escanaba, Mich.

Sharon was a beautician for several years at Miss Dee’s Beauty Salon in Gladstone, Mich.

Sharon enjoyed crocheting, doing cross stitch and jigsaw puzzles, playing bingo, and going on drives and site seeing along the way. She loved cats.

Among survivors are her four children, Andy (Kris) Ambeau of Wells, Diana (Lance) Yelland of Poplar Grove, Ill., Dee Wahl of Escanaba, and Michelle Ambeau of Escanaba; eight grandchildren, Jamie, Mark, Mitchell, Scott, Kyle, Annie, Ronnie, and Michael; 14 great-grandchildren; brother, Clifford Couillard of Green Bay; and several nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents and husband, Allen. The service for Sharon will take place at the Berean Baptist Church on Friday, August 2 at 1 p.m. with Pastor Darin Kelsey officiating. A luncheon will be served following the service.

Burial will be in Lakeview Cemetery in Escanaba.
