MESA, Ariz. — Michael P. Majestic, age 55, passed away peacefully in his sleep at his home in Mesa on the eve of July 4, 2024.

Michael was born January 9, 1969, the son of Carol (Bracke) Majestic and the late Mike G. Majestic. He grew up in Rapid River, Mich. and graduated from Rapid River High School in 1987. He then attended Devry Institute of Technology and received his degree, in the top 5% of his class on October 19, 1990. After working two years building computers, he joined Cerion as line manager then he became the head chemical technician and worked there for over 20 years. Michael lived in Mesa, Ariz. and after losing his sight in 2014, he remained in his home, with the help of a very special caregiver, until his last night.

Michael is survived by his mother, Carol (Dave) Collegnon; nephew, Damon Majestic; niece, Aubrey Majestic; special caregiver, Marci Lavender; aunts, uncles and many cousins.

Michael is preceded in death by his father, Mike G. Majestic; brother, Randy Majestic; sister-in-law, Katie Majestic.

Graveside services will take place on Saturday, July 20 at 10 a.m. in the Rapid River Cemetery with Rev. Fr. William Ssozi officiating.
