THETFORD — Victoria Lee Turk, 72, of Thetford, Mich., died of natural causes at Mclaren Hospital, Flint, Michigan, June 15, 2024

She was born in Detroit in 1951 to Douglas and Marion Parks (Daymon) and grew up in the Oxford, Mich. area. She worked for General Motors, Inc. for approximately 10 years, and met her husband of 39 years, Willard Duane Turk II.

She attended Bay de Noc Community College to take training in nursing later in life.

Victoria was preceded on death by her daughter, Rebecca Brecht; and her husband, Willard Turk.

She is survived by her sons, David Brecht, and Jeremiah Sherman; daughter-in-law, Jennifer Sherman; and her grandchildren, Morgan, Henry, Charlie, Oscar, and Austin.

Memorial luncheon services will be held at the Sherman Family Farm at noon on Sunday, June 23, 2024.
