Kenneth John Flath
TRAVERSE CITY — Kenneth John Flath, 76, formerly of Escanaba passed away at his home in Traverse City. Kenneth was born on August 20, 1947 in Escanaba, to the late John and Sigrid (Ranta) Flath. He proudly served his country in the U.S. Navy from April 4, 1966 until he was honorably discharged on July 1, 1970. Kenneth was a high school special education teacher for many years in Utica. He loved his job and the kids he worked with. He liked to golf, hike, and ski. Kenneth is survived by two sisters, Sandra (John) Vanlerberghe and Kathleen (Del) Hurt. He was preceded in death by his parents; a brother, Robert Flath; and a sister, Nancy Stannard.
Military honors for Kenneth John Flath, will be conducted at noon, Monday, June 24, 2024, at the West Ford River Cemetery by the Delta County Veteran’s Council. Burial will take place in the West Ford River Cemetery.
