Jenny Lynn McMillan

Jenny was the oldest child of Lorin Blowers and Lorrie (McMillan) Germain. Born August 8, 1977 in Escanaba, Mich.

She received her high school diploma from North Central Night School in 2000. Jen worked as a home health care provider for many years.

Jenny met her partner Kris Brown (of Escanaba) at her 14th birthday party. 31 years and two children (Dylan McMillan and Sierra Brown) later they were still going strong.

Jenny was a devoted daughter, partner, mother, sister and friend. She loved her family whole heartedly and was always willing to help whenever it was needed.

Jen was predeceased by her father, Lorin Blowers; stepfather, Kenneth Germain Sr; grandmother, Virginia (Cripps) Ansell; mother-in-law, Sylvia Brown.

She is survived by her mother, Lorrie (McMillan) Germain; partner, Kris Brown; children, Sierra Brown and Dylan McMillan; brothers, Jeremy (Melissa) Blowers and Kenneth (Moriah) Germain; sister, Kayla (Tim) Meek; along with many aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.

A Celebration of Life will be held Friday, June 28 at the Escanaba Civic Center 12 to 2 p.m. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes is assisting the family.
