Terry ‘Snookie’ Arthur Rousseau
ESCANABA — Terry “Snookie” Arthur Rousseau, age 72, of Escanaba passed away Sunday, May 12, 2024 at Christian Park Health Care Center in Escanaba. He was born November 23, 1951 in Escanaba, Mich. and was the son of Harry Arthur and Marion (Deno) Rousseau. Terry was employed with Steve Germain Painting Company in Escanaba. In 1999 Terry moved to Iowa where he worked in a soup kitchen serving the underprivileged. In 2015 he returned to Escanaba. Terry was a member of the Escanaba Pentecostal Church and loved to go to Aronson Island in Escanaba and pray his daily devotions. He enjoyed visiting with people, giving to others, and going to Lakeview Cemetery to care for the family graves.
Terry is survived by sister, Tammy (Darell) Moris of Iowa; nieces, Tara Moris of Iowa, Magan Dop of Iowa, Jennifer Lane of Iowa, Tanya Germain of Escanaba, Heather Stacilaukas of Norway and nephew Kyle Rousseau of Escanaba and several great-nieces and nephews.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brother Larry Rousseau.
Visitation will be held from 11 a.m. to noon Thursday, May 16, at the Anderson Funeral Home in Escanaba. Funeral services celebrating the life of Terry “Snookie” Rousseau will be held at noon Thursday at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Al Lobsinger officiating. Burial will take place in the Lakeview Cemetery.
