Andrew “Andy” J. Romashko

ESCANABA — Andrew “Andy” J. Romashko, 35, Escanaba, passed away on Monday April 29, 2024 from injuries sustained in an automobile accident. He was born on November 1, 1988 in Escanaba, son of Peggy (LaLonde) and the late Mark Romashko. On October 6, 2023 he married the former Jessica Schultz in Escanaba.

Andy was currently working full time, and attending Bay College with top grades, to pursue a job in social work to be able to help others. He was a member of Wellspring Community Church where he gave himself to God, which gave him a greater strength to continue his journey in life and be devoted to his family. Andy also enjoyed cooking out, playing with his dog, listening to music, but mostly spending time with his family and friends.

He is survived by his wife, his mother, two sons, Landon and Dawson Schultz; two sisters, Sara LaLonde and Amanda (Nathan) Romashko-Neumeier; a brother, Joshua LaLonde; as well as aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces, nephews and good friends.

Andy was preceded in death by his father and grandparents.

Friends are invited to join his family from 4:30 to 6 p.m. on Wednesday, May 8, at Wellspring Community Church in the Delta Plaza Mall, entrance is next to Dunham’s Sports. A celebration of life service will be held at 6 p.m. on Wednesday at the church with Pastor Paul Culbertson officiating. A luncheon will follow the celebration of life at church.
