GLADSTONE -- Yvonne "Vonnie" Faith LeClaire, age 91, of Gladstone, passed away peacefully on Wednesday, March 20, 2024, at Mission Point Health of Ishpeming.
Vonnie was born on June 7, 1932 in Ashland, Wis., the daughter of Arne and Helen (Johnson) Morton. She grew up in Ashland and graduated in the class of 1950 from Ashland High School. She was united in marriage to Donald LeClaire on September 27, 1952, and together they shared many years of wonderful memories.
Vonnie worked for most of her life as an Avon dealer and also as a realtor. She also enjoyed gardening, crocheting, riding in the woods and cutting wood. She also enjoyed trips to Ostrander Lake with her family.
Vonnie is survived by her children, Gary (Karen) LeClaire, Laurie (Davis) Aos, Scott (Patti) LeClaire, Ryan LeClaire, and Clifford (Mary) LeClaire; brother, Bruce Morton; grandchildren, Kory Aos, Brett Aos, Kyle Aos, Renae (Andrew) Cook, Bryan (Kelli) LeClaire, Craig (Michelle) LeClaire, Avery LeClaire, Mathew LeClaire, Nicholas LeClaire, Sarah LeClaire, Alicia (Tony) Tickler, and Zachary Ruleau; and great-grandchildren, Christian, Malaina, Ayden, Gavin, Drew, Lia, Ailey, Cale, Grant, Nolan, Lucas, Sebastian, Eliza, Henry, and Victoria.
Vonnie was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald LeClaire; brother, Emery Morton; son-in-law, Davis Aos; and sisters-in-law, Midge Morton and Karen Morton.
