Robin Elizabeth Peerenboom

ESCANABA — Robin Elizabeth Peerenboom 58, of Escanaba, Michigan passed away February 6, 2024 in Milwaukee, Wisconsin.

Robin was born On July 5, 1965 in Rolla, Missouri to Marian (Cruts) and Fred Peerenboom.

Robin was preceded in death by her mother Marion (Cruts) Cook, and her oldest sister Cherri (Peerenboom) Barton.

She is survived by her siblings, Frederick Peerenboom, Marcialee (Rodney) Maynard, Matthew Peerenboom, Corey Peerenboom (Danielle), and Jeanine (Christian) Imes; her three sons, Shane Peerenboom, Joshua (Laura) McKenna, and Patrick Peerenboom; grandchildren, many nieces, nephews, and friends whose love for each other was shared mutually and abundantly. Also her beloved pets Ozzy, Robyn, and her fish.

Robin was a natural caregiver, caring for people who were sick and in need including her mother and her sister Cherri. While caring for Cherri she suffered a stroke. Robin would literally give you the shirt off her back. Robin was an old soul, a loving soul who cared deeply for everyone, even if her own comfort and necessities were set to the side. She loved her children, siblings, and her friends. Robin was an animal lover and helped many animals that were stray, homeless, ill, and unwanted. She was so strong and determined right to the very end.

Robin was an earth child, she loved camping, crackling campfires, nature, gardening, walks in the woods, animals, and mostly her family and friends.

Robin was truly a one in a million friend. She loved without limits, gave without motive, cared beyond comprehension, and welcomed all people without judgement.

Robin’s funeral will be March 2 at 12 p.m. at The Trinity Episcopal Church, 901 Dakota Avenue in Gladstone, Michigan. A luncheon will follow the service.
