Following his years in the military, Buzz chose a career in law enforcement. He worked for the Michigan State Police from 1957 until a work injury in 1974 that forced him out of that career. He was very proud of his years as a trooper and always continued to support his fellow officers.

Buzz then was an investigator for the Delta County Friend of the Court for 10 years until his retirement.

On May 20, 2016, Albert married Barbara (Mineau) Nault-Busbani at St. Anne’s Church in Escanaba.

Buzz was an avid outdoorsman who loved fishing and hunting, especially being out with his beagles hunting rabbits. In his older years, he appreciated just being outside and feeding and watching the deer and birds. He was a founding board member of Wildlife Unlimited of Delta County for 39 years and still continued his involvement with the organization.

Among survivors are his wife, Barbara; children, Kathy (Joe) Pruitt of Maryland, Julie Fuller of Green Bay, Wis., Len (Sue) Busbani of Escanaba, and Mike Busbani of Tennessee; several stepchildren; numerous grandchildren and great grandchildren; niece, Doreen Ellis; and great nieces.
