Maxine Pearl Workman

MUSKEGON — Maxine Pearl Workman, age 95, entered into our Lord’s kingdom on Monday, January 22, 2024. She was born in Muskegon, Mich. on May 7, 1928, to Dominic and Pearl (Stamp) Hogston and married Gerald C. Stever in 1949, and later married Jack Leroy Workman in July 1968. She had been employed as a secretary for Sealed Power and later at Michigan Spring.

In earlier years she was an avid bowler and she and Jack were life members at the Mona Lake Boat Club until his passing. Maxine was a former member of Lakeside United Methodist Church and is currently a member at Lake Harbor United Methodist Church. She was a faithful member of both churches and an active parishioner. Maxine was an avid University of Michigan football fan and never missed a game “Go Blue!”.

Daughter, Roshelle “Shelly” Cutcher; grandchildren, Christopher (Kristin) Cutcher, Craig Cutcher; great-grandchildren, Alisha (Alex Manule Medina) Cutcher, Noah VanEnkevort, Martin Cutcher, Trey Cutcher, Adisynne Cutcher, Karlye Cutcher; two great-great-grandchildren, Alex Manule Medina Jr., Rlyana Rosealee Medina; several nieces and nephews; special friends, Al and Judy Henderson, Lucio and Sue Moreno, Lisa Schaub, Randy Pomaville, Paul Perrin. She was preceded in death by her husband Jack in 1980, brother Robert (Dottie)Hogston and sister Doris (Richard) Cornell. A special thanks to niece Karen Grace for her love and support.

CELEBRATION OF LIFE

A Celebration of Life Memorial Service for Maxine will take place at a later date at Lake Harbor United Methodist Church. Interment in Sunrise Memorial Gardens.
