Barbara ‘Barb’ Ann Kleikamp
WILSON — Barbara “Barb” Ann Kleikamp, 74, of Wilson, passed away on Wednesday, January 17, 2024 at Christian Park Healthcare Center in Escanaba. She was born on October 23, 1949 in Escanaba, daughter of the late Felix Sr. and Emily (Makosky) Sacheck. On June 20, 1970 she married Gary Kleikamp at St. George Catholic Church in Bark River.
Barb worked as a CENA at Pinecrest Medical Care Facility for over 30 years until her retirement in 2005. She enjoyed her work and looked forward to working with all her coworkers. Barb also greatly enjoyed the outdoors, especially spending time with her family at camp and going fishing.
She is survived by her husband, four children, Lisa (Bryan) Chellew, Paul (Becky) Kleikamp, Justin (Barbara) Kleikamp and Jessica Kleikamp; three grandchildren, Christopher, Nathan and Andrew; five brothers, Felix (Sue) Sacheck Jr., Steve (Yvonne) Sacheck, Allen (Diane) Sacheck, John (Renee) Sacheck and Patrick Sacheck; one sister, Debra (Norman) LaPalm, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Her parents preceded her in death.
In keeping with Barb’s wishes, her family will celebrate her life with a private service with Fr. Rick Courier officiating.
