Gregory ‘Greg’ G. Balenger

Greg was born on August 4, 1955, in Escanaba, the son of Harry and Josephine (Moreau) Balenger. Greg was raised in Gladstone and graduated from Gladstone High School. Greg served in the United States Marines until his honorable discharge. Greg worked as a truck driver for most of his life. He also enjoyed hunting and loved his dogs Sable and Oscar.

Greg is survived by his son, Gregory (Susan) Jarvey; stepson, Calvin Burt; siblings, Debbie (John) Vargo and Scott (Brenda) Balenger; grandchild, Brandon Jarvey; nieces and nephews, Tricia Balenger, Clifford Pepin, Rebecca (Rick) Neuman, Andie and Elijah Balenger, Sally (Rob) Rager, and Pam (Jim) Gibbs; as well as several cousins.

Greg is preceded in death by his parents; wife, Tina Balenger; brothers, Mike (Colleen) Balenger and Wally Balenger; and sister, Annamae Nickell.
