Peter Edward Blair
ALLEGAN — Peter Edward Blair passed away Thursday, November 9, 2023. Son of Edward L. Blair and Margaret (Brock) Blair Palmquist, and stepfather Walter Palmquist, he was born in Gladstone, Michigan, on April 26, 1946 and grew up in Kipling, Mich. He married Amy (Tonn) Blair and lived in Wallace, Michigan, for over 40 years. He was a family man, an avid outdoorsman who loved hunting and fishing, a teacher in the Stephenson School District, and a driver’s education instructor. He lived the last five years near his son, Jason, in Allegan, Michigan.
Peter was preceded in death by his wife, Amy. He is survived by his son, Jason, and daughter-in-law, Aimee. He is also survived by his sister, Patricia Meyer, his nephew Thomas Meyer and his wife Carla, and their children Matthew and Alicia. According to Peter’s wishes, cremation has taken place, and there will be a private burial in the spring at Fernwood Cemetery in Gladstone.
