Gerard E. ‘Pea Body’ Clark
BARK RIVER — Gerard E. “Pea Body” Clark, 81, of Bark River, passed away on Thursday evening, November 16, 2023 at his home with family by his side.
He was born on April 7, 1942 in Escanaba, son to George and Louella (Girard) Clark. Gerard graduated from Holy Name High School, class of 1960.
On January 12, 1983, Gerard married Linda Clark. She preceded him in death.
For 45 years, Gerard was a truck driver for Interstate Highway Construction until his retirement.
He enjoyed going to the casino, gardening, and collecting baseball cards. When he was younger, he enjoyed hunting. Gerard loved his dogs and Pabst Blue Ribbon.
Among survivors are his son, Greg; stepdaughters, Mary (Terry) and Robin; grandchildren, Karen (Ryan), Michael, Cole, Mercedes, Porscha, Audi, Nichole, Ruben (Esperanza), Joey, Bernie (Cleo), and Merraina; 16 great-grandchildren; and niece and nephew, Jeannie and David.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, a brother, two sisters, two sons, a step son, and granddaughter.
