Denise Sayklly
ESCANABA — Denise Sayklly, age 65, of Escanaba passed away peacefully on Wednesday, October 18, 2023 at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba.
She was the daughter of Edward J. and Beatrice M. Sayklly.
Denise was employed at the Island Resort and Casino for over 30 years and prior was an announcer at the radio station here in Escanaba for WYKX.
Denise enjoyed riding horses, spending time with grandkids and she loved to fish. She was also an animal lover and her favorite band was Risque and she enjoyed following them. Denise was also an avid Packer fan and enjoyed riding ATVs.
Survivors include son, James (Kellie Majestic) Lanaville of Escanaba; brothers, Lyle and Mike Sayklly; grandchildren, Alexis Lanaville and Kenzie VanEnkevort; and special friend, Matthew Halfaday.
In addition to her parents, Denise was preceded in death by brothers, Joe and Donnie and sister, Rosetta.
A celebration of life will take place at the Island Resort and Casino Convention Center from noon until 4 p.m. on Friday, November 17.
