Connie L. Fuller
ROCK — Connie L. Fuller, age 74, of Rock passed away Thursday, November 9, 2023 at OSF St. Francis Hospital in Escanaba. She was born May 28, 1949 in Detroit, Mich. and was the daughter of Henry and Coralee (Watts) Norkoli. Connie graduated from Rock High School in 1967. The former Connie Norkoli married Jerry Amis in June of 1968 and he preceded her in death. Connie then married Keith Fuller in 1984. In 1986 she attended The College of Health Care Professions in Texas and received a medical assisting certificate. Connie moved to Rock, Mich. in 1991. Connie was diagnosed with MS (Multiple Sclerosis) in 1986. She always had a positive attitude and a great outlook on life, even with her disabilities. Connie served on the SAIL (Superior Alliance for Independent Living) Disability Network Board of Directors, DATA (Delta Area Transit Authority) Board of Directors and was a volunteer with MLTCOP (Michigan Long Term Care Ombudsman Program).
Connie is survived by her sons, Jerry Amis of Rock, Reike (Sarah) Amis of Negaunee, and Phillip Amis of Marquette; seven grandchildren; brother Raymond (Evelyn) Norkoli of Rock and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her parents and husbands, Connie was preceded in death by her son Lawrence Fuller.
Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. to 12 p.m. Tuesday, November 14, at the Anderson Funeral Home in Gladstone. Funeral services celebrating the life of Connie, will be held at noon Tuesday at the Anderson Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Darin Kelsey officiating. A luncheon will be served, following the funeral services, in the Anderson Funeral Home fellowship hall. Burial will take place at 2 p.m. Tuesday at the Rock Cemetery.
