Charles ‘Chuck’ Valind

Chuck grew up in Escanaba, Mich. and proudly served our country with the U.S. Army, earning the rank of sergeant. After an honorable discharge, he went to work with Manitowoc Corp, enjoying a 30-year career as a crane technician. Chuck’s job sent him across the United States and around the world. He enjoyed traveling with his career and was always willing to share stories about his adventures with family and friends.

He further enjoyed his cats, spending time with them each day.

Chuck is survived by his wife, Sue; sons, Kevin, Scott, and Brandon; grandchildren, Bailey, Nate, Addison and Claire. He is further survived by brother, Tom (Geri)Valind; sisters Leta Cousineau and Katheryn Minor; and many brothers and sisters in law.

Chuck is preceded in death by his parents, Mark and Lucille Valind; brother, Robert; and sister, Roberta.

We will miss you Chuck as you embark to your final crane site. Rest in peace our friend.
