Tamara Lea Rowley

ESCANABA — Tamara Lea Rowley, 21, of Escanaba, passed away peacefully at her home on Friday, September 1, 2023 surrounded by her loving family.

She was born on August 31, 2002 in Escanaba, daughter to James M. Rowley Jr. and Stacy L. (Kahl) Simon. Tamara attended the Learning Center for several years.

Tamara loves animals and would enjoy the visits to the zoo and fair. She especially enjoyed feeding the animals at the petting zoo. Her bed was usually filled with stuffed animals, most often monkeys which were her favorite. Tamara enjoyed spending time with her family, taking trips to see friends in Milwaukee, watching movies and SpongeBob, and doing art projects especially finger painting.

She will always be loved and greatly missed by her mother and step-dad, Stacy and Lucas Simon; her father, James M. Rowley, Jr.; grandparents, John and Renee Kahl, James and Jean Simon, and Linda Kidd; and many loving uncles, aunts, cousins and extended family.

Tamara was preceded in death by her great-grandparents.

Visitation will be on Thursday, September 7 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home, 302 S. 13th St., Escanaba.

Burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery.
