HARRIS — Ronda R. Malinowski, 56, of Harris, passed away on Tuesday morning, September 5, 2023, at her home as a result of multiple health issues she was struggling with.

She was born on January 20, 1967, in Manistique, Mich., daughter to Andrew Elliott and Linda Sue (Fitzpatrick) Swisher.  Ronda was raised in Wells and graduated from Escanaba High School, class of 1985.

On April 18, 1998, Ronda married Adam Edward Malinowski, Jr. in Hannahville.

Ronda loved to perform and was passionate about music.  As a singer and songwriter, she performed at many festivals and venues.  She was so proud and it was a highlight of her life to open for Lorrie Morgan.

She enjoyed flowers and gardening.  Ronda always wanted to be knowledgeable of her daughter’s Native American culture.  She respected their heritage and wanted to be able to share that with them.

Survivors include her husband, Adam of Wilson; mother, Linda Swisher of Harris; three daughters, Heather (Andrew) Bartky of Rapid River, Barbara Malinowski and Gabrielle Sagataw Malinowski both of Wilson; son, Four Winds Charging Hawk of Wilson; grandchildren, Kayden, McKenzie, Rosalii, Leanara, Miles, Zakarie, Natalie, Noel, Eathen, and Adam III; siblings, Jackie (Clayton) Livermore of Perkins, Traci (Tim) Gartland of Rapid River, Terry (Rose) Swisher of Hyde, and Wendy Mattson of Riverland; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her dad, Andrew.

Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
