Linda L. Sullivan

Linda was born on January 4, 1956, in Escanaba, the daughter of David and Esther (Cottom) Friets.

Linda grew up in Escanaba, and graduated from Escanaba Area High School, class of 1974. Linda was joined in marriage to William Sullivan in 1985, and they welcomed their daughter Samantha in 1989. Linda always kept herself busy, and prided herself in the businesses she was a part of, including Sully’s Sandwiches, started by her late husband William; and Norm’s Famous French Fries, that they owned and operated for many years. Linda enjoyed the outdoors and being in nature, spending her summers camping or at the beach. Linda also loved Lifetime Movie Marathons, collecting Brass figurines, and spending time with her grand-pup Daisy May. She will be remembered by all as the strong willed, free-spirited woman she was.

Linda is survived by her daughter, Samantha Sullivan; partner, Al Schaefer; mother, Esther Friets; brother, David Friets; and sisters, Connie and Debra Friets, as well as her nephews. Linda was preceded in death by her father David Friets, her husband William R. Sullivan, and her stepson Adam Sullivan.
