Jennifer Kay (Jenny) Lyon
DOOR COUNTY, Wis. — Jennifer Kay (Jenny) Lyon, age 60, passed away peacefully on September 12, 2023, in Door County. She faced several serious health challenges, but never lost her sense of hope. We wish to remember her not for the battles she fought, but for her curious and adventurous spirit.
Jenny was born in Green Bay and graduated from Escanaba High School. After graduating from Northeast Wisconsin Technical College in Green Bay, she moved to Colorado, where she lived for many years. Eventually, she moved to Door County to be closer to family and found a job working at Yacht Works Marina, which she really enjoyed.
In her free time, Jenny liked to spend time outdoors photographing nature and wildlife. She loved animals, especially her cherished pet cats. She will be missed by those who knew her.
Jennifer is survived by her siblings, Peter (Starr) Lyon, Christopher (Lynn) Lyon, Kathryn (Loren) Dalebroux; as well as many beloved nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her mother, Irma R. Lyon, and her father, Reverend Dr. Philip J. Lyon.
The family would like to acknowledge and thank Rick and Marty Gename for the love and support they showed towards Jenny over the years.
