RAPID RIVER — Evelyn LeDuc, age 94, of Rapid River, passed away peacefully on Thursday, August 31, 2023, at the Christian Park Village in Escanaba.

Evelyn was born March 4, 1929, in Norway, Michigan, the daughter of William and Hazel (Roberts) Stone. She was united in marriage to John LeDuc and was a member of St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Rapid River.

Evelyn is survived by her sons, Harold (Jackie), Allen (Ingrid) and Robert (Dawn) LeDuc; 10 grandchildren; 21 great grandchildren; siblings, Jim Wahl, Raymond (Kathy) Jutton, Francis (Judie) Roberts, Patricia (James-Deceased) Gallagher and Mary (Al Blahnik) Roberts and numerous nieces, nephews and cousins.

She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, John; and her brother, Bob (Ilene “Midge”) Stone.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, September 5 from 12 to 2 p.m. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 3 p.m. at St. Charles Borromeo Catholic Church in Rapid River with Fr. William Ssozi officiating. A luncheon will follow in the parish hall. Evelyn will be laid to rest in the Gardens of Rest Cemetery.
