STEPHENSON — Deanna Mae Thill, 80 of Stephenson, Mich. passed away peacefully on Thursday, September 7, 2023 at her home with her beloved husband, Wayne, by her side. The former Deanna Mae Bouchard was born on March 3, 1943 in Detroit, Mich. to Alex and Avis (Leivdal) Bouchard. On November 5, 1994, Deanna married Wayne Thill in Escanaba, Mich. Deanna worked as an auditor for General Business Solutions out of Milwaukee, Wis. for many years. She was an amazing cook, loved to bake bread, and brought her family together at the dinner table. Deanna was a member of St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church.

She was a wife of 28 years to Wayne; mother to Dean (Anne Marie), Denise (Jim), Danielle (Jason) and Darrell (Wendy); blessed to be grandmother to Nicholas, Arek, Haley, Kian, Alex, Olivia, Chris, Caitlin, and Jacob; great-grandmother to Violet, Evelyn, Wyatt, Jensen, and Owen; sister to Francis (Darlene) Bouchard, Terry (Patti) Bouchard, Patricia (Arthur) Kaliszewski, and Wendy Gravelle.

Deanna was preceded in death by her parents, Alex and Avis; her grandson, Alex Lundstrom; two brothers, Ricky Bouchard and Al Bouchard; and three brothers-in-law, Pat Thill, Tony Thill and Jerry Thill.

Visitation for Deanna will be held at St. Stephen’s Lutheran Church in Stephenson, Mich. on Sunday, September 10, from 1 p.m. until time of Funeral Service at 3 p.m. with Reverend Brenda Greenwald presiding. Burial will be in Bethesda Cemetery, Daggett, Mich. on Monday, September 11, at 9 a.m.
