Dean J. Shipman

ESCANABA — The Honorable Dean J. Shipman, 91, of Escanaba, judge for the 47th Judicial Circuit Court in the State of Michigan passed away on Thursday, July 6, 2023 at his home with several of his loving family members at his side.

A Catholic Mass will be held at St. Joseph and St. Patrick Church of Escanaba, on Saturday, September 23, at 11 a.m. This will be followed by a military salute and celebration of life lunch at the Escanaba Yacht Club, starting at 12:30 p.m.

In lieu of flower donations, please make a contribution to the local Alzheimer’s Association.

The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the Shipman family.
