Dave A. Myers

He was born on November 16, 1947 in Escanaba, son to Mose Philip and Dorothy Gladys (Schils) Myers. Dave graduated from Escanaba High School in 1976.

On August 10, 1974, Dave married the former Patsy Ann Deneau at Bethany Lutheran Church in Escanaba. She preceded him in death on December 25, 2015.

Dave was employed with the City of Escanaba, Department of Public Works until his retirement in 1997.

He enjoyed coin collecting, doing crossword puzzles, drawing, and would do anything to help others. Dave also loved spending time visiting with his neighborhood friends.

Among survivors are his twin brother, Dan (Lois) Myers of Escanaba; brother, Duane (Christine Sovey) Myers of Green Bay; sister-in-law, Linda Anderson of Gladstone; nephews, Ray Saari, Kevin Saari, Paul Myers, Paul Deneau, and Brian Myers; nieces, Melissa Myers, Terri Lester, Lisa Myers, and Melanie Warden; and dearest friend, Robin Pilon.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by brothers, James R. Myers and Don Myers; sisters, Dorothy Myers and Marilyn Saari; and nephew, Michael Myers.

Visitation will be on Tuesday, September 12 from 11:30 a.m. to 1:30 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home, 302 S. 13th St., Escanaba. The funeral service will follow at 1:30 p.m. with Pastor Mike Cummings officiating.

Burial will take place in Lakeview Cemetery.
