Arthur Robert Good

Art was born December 30, 1939, in Escanaba, Michigan, to Chester Alan and Helen Lillian (Sundquist) Good. He was raised on a dairy farm in Bark River, Mich., as the seventh of nine “Good” children. Art graduated from Bark River-Harris High School in 1958 where he was valedictorian and homecoming king. He continued his education at Michigan Technological University, Houghton, Mich., graduating in 1962.

Among the local survivors is his brother William Good of Bark River.

He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jim Good; sisters, Doreen Bartoszek, Jean McDonough, Lois Anderson, and Karen Berquist.

Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. on Friday, September 15 at St. Michael the Archangel Catholic Church in Leawood, Kan. The Anderson Funeral Homes of Escanaba and Gladstone are assisting the Good family with the arrangements and online condolences can be sent to the family at www.andersonfuneralhomes.net.
