Bonnie C. (Siko) Popour
ESCANABA — Bonnie C. (Siko) Popour, 68, of Escanaba, passed away on Saturday, June 17, 2023 at her home surrounded by her loving family and dog, Coco.
She was born on June 18, 1954 in Escanaba, daughter to James and Dorothy (Duncan) Siko. Bonnie attended Escanaba High School and graduated, class of 1972.
On December 10, 1981, Bonnie married Edward A. Popour in Escanaba.
Over the years, she was employed with Sayklly’s Candies, Chip-In Casino, Bishop Noa Home and the Mayflower Restaurant.
She enjoyed playing bingo, shopping and shooting pool.
Among survivors are her husband, Edward; children, Glenda (Chad) Miller, James (Hope) Meunier, Amy (Mike) Englund, and Jill (Mike) LaCasse; grandchildren, James and Mercedes Lennox, Aaliyah Willman, Trenton Meunier, Coty Ettenhofer, Cassandra, Chaeli, and Cori Miller, Dakota and Derick Gould, Connor and Ashlee LaCasse, and Christina and Alyssa Englund; four great-grandchildren, Baylee, Luke, Riot, and Nova; and sisters, Nancy Cody, Sally Short, and Susie Dahm; and several nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Wednesday, June 28 at 3 p.m. at St. Anne’s Church with Rev. Fran DeGroot officiating.
Inurnment will take place in Gardens of Rest Cemetery at a later date.
