Ann Harvey Neuser
BLOOMINGTON, Minn. — Born on January 18, 1945, Ann Harvey Neuser was the eldest of George and Alice (Calpin) Harvey’s seven children. After a brief battle with cancer, Ann passed away on May 29, 2023, at her home in Bloomington, Minn. under the care of her loving children.
Ann lived a full life; she was a 1963 graduate of Holy Name High School and in 1967 from Marywood College. She enjoyed volunteering with her children’s activities, working for the National Security Agency and the Red Cross. She worked with NASA to bring “moon rocks” to Ramblewood Elementary (Jen and John’s childhood school). Being with her children and grandchildren brought Ann the most joy in life. She looked forward to annual visits to Pittsburgh, the hometown of her husband Dennis — as well as her annual adventures to Lake Michigan in Escanaba and time spent with her children and their families.
Ann was preceded in death by her husband Dennis, parents George and Alice, twin brothers Michael and George, brothers-in-law Jack Neuser and Tom Lang, and in-laws Eleanor and John Neuser.
Those surviving Ann are her children, Jennifer (Einer) Rasmussen and John (Tonya) Neuser; grandchildren, Rayden, Nora, Stella and Darcy; her siblings, Mary (Richard) Hughes, Joe (Mary) Harvey, Kay (Randy Evosevich) Johnson and Paul (Kathy) Harvey; sisters-in-law, Peggy (Bruce) Neeley, Carol (Tom) Lang, and Moni (Joe)Russo. Ann was a beloved aunt to many nephews and nieces.
Ann was so loved by her family; she was a trusted friend to many and a kind soul. There will be a service at the Nativity Church in Bloomington next week. The family is planning a memorial in Escanaba in August. She will truly be missed.
