Nancy K. Gage

ESCANABA -- Nancy K. Gage, age 64 of Escanaba, passed away on Sunday, April 16, 2023.

Nancy was born April 26, 1958. She was employed with Rampart Emergency Medical Services for over 40 years and most recently was a medical examiner investigator.

Nancy was a community leader. She was a captain for PGR Regional Ride, Michigan Bikers Helping Veterans, the President of the Eagles Auxiliary 1088/ Great Lakes Regional President. She was involved with the Steam and Gas Engine Association and helped build the infirmary. Nancy played an important role with the start of the Serenity Garden at OSF Hospital and was on the committee for Honor Flight Legacy at UP Military Museum. She was also a proud Honor Flight medic among other things.

Nancy is survived by her loving family and many dear friends.

Nancy is preceded in death by her parents and her dear friend, Ann Roman.

Family will receive friends on Friday, April 21, from 2 until 6 p.m. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Escanaba. Rampart EMS will conduct a "Last Call" at 6 p.m. Visitation will resume Saturday from 10 a.m. until 11:30 a.m. with Eagles Auxiliary 1088 presenting a funeral ritual at 11:30 a.m. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Escanaba. Nancy will be laid to rest in the Holy Cross Cemetery in Escanaba. A luncheon will take place at the Eagles 1088 Club following graveside services.
