Eunice M. Brown

She was born on February 19, 1943 in Trenton, N.J., the daughter of Wyman E. and Melba O. (Smith) Nelson. Eunice was raised in Gulliver, Mich. and attended Mueller Township School.

On January 6, 1966, she married Robert L. Brown and together shared 44 years of marriage. He preceded her in death on March 16, 2010. Eunice spent the majority of her years as a housewife and homemaker. She enjoyed playing bingo, and was a former bingo caller at Roundy’s Bingo Hall and the Moose Lodge. She was a past member of the Eagles.

Listed among survivors are her son, Patrick Brown of Gladstone; grandchildren, Xander Brown and Brooke Brown; sister, Carolyn (Glen) Johnston; and brother, Richard Nelson.

Eunice was preceded in death by her parents, Wyman and Melba Nelson; first husband, Richard Bromm in 1963; late husband, Robert Brown; sister, Lois Schmeichel; and brother, Charles Nelson.

A celebration of life is being planned for a later date.
