ESCANABA -- Chad "Chadwick" Lawrence Chenier 38, of Escanaba, Mich., passed away unexpectedly March 16, 2023.
Chad was born in San Antonio, Texas to Rhonda Binola and Glenn Chenier and moved back to Escanaba when he was three months old. He grew up somewhat nomadically, between Escanaba and Marinette, Wis., tied really to neither, tethered instead to people that he believed were his home.
He loved music, reading, cooking, and fancied himself something of a writer.
He is survived by his son, Linkoln Chenier, his truest and purest tether and home; Linkoln's mother, Helene Tebear; the Beauvais kids that he loved as his own; his parents, Glenn (Carol) Chenier and Rhonda Binola; his grandmother, Nancy Chenier; his brothers and sisters; aunts, uncles, cousins, one nephew, and many friends.
Chad was preceded in death by his grandparents Larry Chenier, and Waino and Susann Binola.
"God grant me the serenity to accept the things I cannot change, the courage to change the things I can, and the wisdom to know the difference." A private ceremony with his immediate family is planned.
