Kevin Michael Mayrand

He was born on February 7, 1961 in Escanaba, son to Ellis Robert and Janet Susan (Brunelle) Mayrand. Kevin attending Escanaba schools.

Kevin was employed with Cal Grinding, Inc.

He was an avid sports fan, especially football and rooting on the Detroit Lions. Kevin enjoyed shooting his guns, making maple syrup, and spending time with his grandchildren.

He is survived by his siblings, Tina (Peter) Derouin of Escanaba, Robert (Sandy) Mayrand of Tichigan, Wis., Daniel Mayrand of Ford River, and Donna Siedlecki of Marinette; stepdaughter, Kayla (Jordan) Bates of Escanaba; grandchildren, Ashdeyn, Zoey, and Nova; and many aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, and cousins.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Laura (Dickerson) Mayrand; sister, Colleen A. Klingshirn; and brother-in-law, Peter Siedlecki.

Visitation will be on Friday, January 20 from 2 to 3 p.m. at St. Anne’s Church, 817 S. Lincoln Rd, Escanaba. The Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 3 p.m. with Rev. Fran DeGroot officiating.

Immediately following the services, a gathering and meal will be held at Mayrand’s Tenth Street Tavern, 300 S. 10th St., Escanaba.

In lieu of flowers, expressions of sympathy may be directed to the family and a memorial will be established at a later date.

Burial will take place in Sacred Heart Cemetery in Schaffer.
