Robin R. Heppner and Donald R. Heppner

Robin was born on October 14, 1935 in Bessemer, Michigan, the daughter of Charles and Eleanor (Lott) Robins.

Donald R. Heppner, age 87, of Rapid River passed away peacefully on Thursday, March 11, 2021.

Donald was born on August 31, 1933 in Chicago, Illinois, the son of Bernard and Marie (Seitz) Heppner.

They were united in marriage on December 26, 1956. They are survived by their children, Candace (Steve), Julie, Timothy (Norma), Matthew (Erin), Charles (Elissa), Christopher (Diana), David (Lynette) and Erin (Bruce); grandchildren, Genevieve (Brian), Anthony (Lydia), Claire (Tim), Max, Nicholas, Grace, Gary, Ethan, Elaine, Margaret, Lucia, Zora, Cole, Sam, Emily, Benjamin, Aaron, Zachery, Eric, Lauren and Philip and eight great-grandchildren.

They were preceded in death by their son, Peter and their parents.

Robin will be laid to rest, next to her husband, in the Riverside Cemetery in Ironwood, Michigan at 1:30 p.m. EST on Friday, November 4.

A Celebration of Robin’s Life will take place in May in Paradise, Michigan.

Memorial contributions in Robin and Donald’s name can directed to the Delta Animal Shelter.
