Darlene Hall
GLADSTONE — Darlene Hall, age 80, of Gladstone, formerly of Minneapolis, Minn., passed away at U.P. Health Systems Hospital in Marquette on September 20, 2022.
Darlene was born in Bark River on December 23, 1941, the daughter of John Howard Carlson and Irene Hazel Hammerberg (Carlson). The family relocated to Minneapolis when Darlene was young and they spent many years there. Darlene loved collecting antiques and gardening. She also enjoyed spending time with family and friends which included walking around the many lighthouses in Michigan with her grandchildren. She will be missed by so many.
Darlene is survived by her husband, Jim Hall; children, Dawn (Ron) Duenwald and Shawn (Nicole) Miller; brother, John (Milly) Carlson; brothers-in-law, Bill Buttedahl and Roger and Diane Hall; daughter-in-law, Lily Androff; grandchildren, Amy, Briannia, Taylor, Patrick, Hunter, and Lauren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Darlene was preceded in death by her parents, son Rob Androff, and sister Bonnie Buttedahl.
Family will receive friends on Wednesday, September 28, from 1 to 3 p.m. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Escanaba.
