Mindi Marie Duguid

Mindi was born May 7, 1984, in Escanaba, Mich., the daughter of Scott Smith and Teresa Murray. Mindi attended and graduated from Gladstone Area Schools.

Mindi was united in marriage to Spenser Duguid on July 28, 2018 at New Life Church in Escanaba. She was a beautiful and caring person who enjoyed attending New Life Church. She also loved spending time with her children, fishing with her husband and being at camp with her family. Mindi had a smile that would light up every room she walked in. She will be deeply missed by all that knew her.

In addition to her husband, Spenser, Mindi is survived by: children, Emee Waldman, Aria Waldman and River Duguid; mother, Teresa (Jim) Murray; father, Scott (Jane) Smith; siblings, Heidi (Peter) VandenBerg, Kayli (Jon) Taylor, Jeff Murray, Becca Nail, Mike (Jessica) Murray and Cory (Alyssa) Murray; grandparents, Fred and Mary Robinson, Ron and Luella Smith; mother-in-law and father-in law, Brooke (Rory) Magnuson and Scott (Kelly) Duguid; special aunts, Lesa Robinson and Debbie Carlson; special cousin, Jennifer Paulson.

Mindi was preceded in death by her cousin, Kari Enger and her aunt, Beth Robinson.

Family will receive friends on Saturday, May 28, from 1 until 4 p.m. at New Life Church in Escanaba. A funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. with Pastor Jason Janich officiating. A luncheon will take place at New Life Community Center. The Skradski Family Funeral Homes of Delta County are assisting the Duguid family.
