Roger A. Trumble

He was born on January 26, 1938 in Altmar, N.Y., the son of Cecil and Frances (Towsley) Trumble. Roger was raised in Altmar and has resided in Escanaba since 2002.

He honorably served in the U.S. Army from 1957 until 1959.

In 1971, Roger married the former Elaine Hansen in Illinois.

Roger was a foreman for a plastic company in Illinois until his retirement in 1992.

He loved hunting, fishing, and gardening.

Survivors include his wife, Elaine; children, Cindy, Merri, and Shawn of California and Cheryl, Sandra, and Danny of Escanaba; 16 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren; and siblings, Charlotte Parkhurst and Brenda Richway both of New York.

He was preceded in death by his parents; daughter, Pamela Sue Gravelle; son, Rodney Trumble; brothers, Bob, Carl, Cliff, and Duffy; and sister, Elaine.

Visitation will be held on Monday, April 11 from 2 to 4 p.m. at the Crawford Funeral Home, 302 S 13th St, Escanaba. The funeral service will follow at 4 p.m. with Pastor Elise Edwardson officiating.

Burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery.
