Travis Michael Hebert

RAPID RIVER, Mich. — Travis Michael Hebert, age 29, of Rapid River, passed away Saturday, March 26, 2022 at his home.

Travis was born November 3, 1992, in Escanaba, Mich. the son of Michael and Roxann (Khollman) Hebert. He attended Rapid River Area Schools and graduated in 2011.

Travis was currently attending Bay College and pursuing a water technician degree. He also was working for the family owned business, Rapid River Pub as a bartender. He was a past member of Labor Union Local 1329.

Travis loved to fish and spend time with family and friends. He enjoyed his big fish tank and adored his two dogs, Harley and Fred. Travis was the life of the party and always liked to entertain and make people laugh. He also liked to read books about politics, past presidents, wars and famous people.

In addition to his parents, Travis is survived by: sisters, Miranda (Greg) Ducheny of Ford River, Mich., Tamara (Andrew) Knaack of Ramsey, Mich.; niece and nephew, Aubrey and Evan Knaack; step-niece, Madison Ducheny; maternal grandparents, Mike and Evelyn Birkholz of Gladstone, Mich.; paternal grandparents, Lucinda Johnston of Gladstone and James and Judy Hebert of Gladstone, Mich.; aunts and uncles, Michelle and Greg Anderson of Rapid River, Mich., Cathy (Tom McNutt) Khollman of Perkins, Mich., Randy Khollman of Gladstone, Mich., Chris (Dave) Hamrin of Gladstone, Mich., Anna (Mike) Gasperich of Gladstone, Mich., Fred (Donna) Khollman of Menominee, Mich., Jim Hebert Jr. of Rapid River, Mich., Cheryl (Russ) Lafave of Gladstone, Mich., Marvin Hebert of Rapid River, Mich., Kristine (Dave) Champagne of Quinnesec, Mich., Patti (Bob Sagataw) Hebert of Gladstone, Mich., Jerry (Estella) Hebert of Gladstone, Mich., Connie (Steve) Sholl of Leo, Ind., Marcus (Sara Belanger) Hebert of Gladstone, Mich., Jamie (Brian) Closs of Rapid River, Mich., Pam (Tim) Belanger of Rapid River, Mich.

Travis was preceded in death by his uncle Alan John Hebert

Family will receive friends on Friday, April 1, from 2 until 5 p.m. at the Skradski Funeral Home in Gladstone. Funeral services will follow at 5 p.m. with Rev. Fr. William Ssozi officiating. A luncheon will follow at the St. Charles of Borromeo Church Hall in Rapid River.
