Lois M. Kenneally
ESCANABA — Lois M. Kenneally, 89, formerly of Escanaba, passed away Sunday morning, January 16, 2022 at Rennes Nursing Home in DePere, Wis.
She was born August 17, 1932, in Gladstone, the daughter of Louis J. and Marjorie (Thompson) Schram and was raised in Gladstone. Lois was a graduate of Mount St. Mary’s Academy in St. Charles, Ill., class of 1950.
Lois married Robert Budd Kenneally August 1, 1953 in Gladstone. They lived in Ft. Leonard Wood, MO until his discharge from service, then lived in Escanaba where they raised their family.
She was a member of St. Thomas the Apostle Church and St. Joseph and St. Patrick Church and also was an active golfer at the Escanaba Country Club.
Among survivors include her sons, Thomas (Sandy) Kenneally of San Tan Valley, Ariz. and Kevin Kenneally of DePere, Wis.; daughter, Kay Chase of Neenah, Wis.; and 10 grandchildren and 21 great-grandchildren.
In addition to her parents and husband, Robert on April 21, 1995; she was preceded in death by two sons, Terry in 2000 and Timothy in 1963; and brother, Marvin Schram in 2020.
A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Joseph and St. Patrick Church on Tuesday, January 25 at 11 a.m. with Rev. Timothy Ferguson officiating. A meal will immediately follow in the church hall.
Burial will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery in the spring.
The Crawford Funeral Homes are assisting the family with arrangements.
