Roger J. Piche
POWERS — Roger J. Piche, 81, of Powers, passed away on Thursday, November 11, 2021 in Indiana. He was born on October 7, 1940 in Nadeau, Mich., son of the late Walter and Stella (Laurin) Piche. On September 7, 1963 he married the former June Klee at St. Francis Xavier Church in Spalding.
Roger enjoyed being in the outdoors, farming, hunting, fishing and spending time at camp with his brothers.
He is survived by his wife, sisters, Donna (Dennis) Gatien and Janice Chernick; brothers, Richard (Mary) Piche and Dale (Donna) Piche; children, David (Carolyn) Piche, Bruce (Doris) Piche, Jeanette (Kirby) Siders and Kelly (John) Anderson; eight grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren, as well as many nieces and nephews.
Roger was preceded in death by his parents, an infant sister Janet, a brother Randy Piche and a brother-in-law Wayne Chernick.
Friends may call from 10 to 11 a.m. CST on Thursday November 18, at the Allo Coolman Funeral Home in Spalding with Tony Revord American Legion Post 244 rites at 10:45 a.m. A funeral service to celebrate the life of Roger Piche will be held at 11 a.m. CST on Thursday at the funeral home with Deacon Mike LeBeau officiating. Burial will follow services in the Spalding Township Cemetery.
