Ted J. Anderson

He is survived by his wife of 59 years, Elaine (Larsen) Anderson, his four children Jay Anderson, Scott Anderson, Craig Anderson and Sue Meadows, his nine grandchildren, Erik, Shane and Kyle Anderson, Rose, Grace and Kelly Anderson, and Elizabeth, James and David Meadows, nephew Kevin Kramer and niece Karen Mead.

He was predeceased by his parents Pearl Fenwick Anderson and Florence (Bolbock) Anderson, sister Ruth Kramer and nephew Greg Larsen.

Ted was born in Ohio, Illinois. He graduated from Ohio High School and the University of Illinois with a bachelor of arts. Ted was a State Farm insurance agent for over 20 years, starting in Winfield and moving to Wheaton, Illinois.

Ted was a very proud University of Illinois alumnus and delighted that three grandchildren followed in his footsteps. He enjoyed many traveling adventures with Elaine, bird and deer hunting, watching sunsets with family and friends at his farm in the Upper Peninsula of Michigan and spending time with his grandchildren.

Ted also proudly served his country twice and was a veteran of the Army 101st Airborne.
